RN Labor and Delivery jobs at the facility in Sylva, NC let you provide specialized care for expectant mothers and newborns in a supportive Women’s Services Unit. The facility features private labor suites, modern technology, and a family-focused environment designed for safety and comfort. To qualify, you need an active North Carolina RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is recommended. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, strong clinical skills, and effective communication are important for this role.
