American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 30, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a rotating day/night assignment requiring AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP certifications. Details Labor and Delivery unit caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients Facility delivers approximately 200-300 births per month Performs vaginal exams, assists with vaginal deliveries, and circulates for C-sections Starts IVs, draws blood, and assists with newborn stabilization using NRP skills Manages complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy Rotating 3x12 Day (7:00-19:30) and Night (19:00-7:30) shifts Floating required within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius Cerner EMR experience preferred Requirements Active PA or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP (AWHONN Advanced preferred) AHA certifications only accepted Cerner charting experience preferred Prior charge nurse experience preferred Two supervisor references preferred DL, SSN, and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Local candidates not accepted Must be willing to work every other holiday Fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing First 8 hours of orientation are non-billable with approximately 1 hour of pre-start modules required before entering the facility Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible Travelers who have completed a cumulative year within the health system must take a two-year break before returning Travel pairs considered based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed American Traveler Job ID P- .
