Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers a dynamic and supportive work environment within the Labor and Delivery unit.
Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs, documenting and reporting changes as necessary.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Assist in emergency procedures as necessary and provide education to patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes.
Utilize Epic for accurate and timely charting of patient information.
Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate.
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
Weekend shifts are required.
Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
Schedule Shifts are variable, with options for 3x12-hour day or night shifts.
Additional Information Housing will be provided for travelers during the assignment, typically in 1-bedroom apartments.
Housing will be available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after it ends.
Pets are not allowed in housing units.
Housing units are generally sufficient for only the traveler; any additional family members require prior approval.
Upon departure, housing units must be cleaned to avoid additional cleaning fees.
