Required Certifications & Skills Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Anticoagulation therapy, Antihypertensives, Assist with vaginal delivery, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Foley catheter insertion/management, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Newborn hypoglycemia, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Starting and maintaining IVs, Amnioinfusion, Antepartum, Antiseizure, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Collect cord samples, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Drawing Venous Blood, Epidural Anesthesia, Facility births/month 100-200, Hemorrhage/shock, High Risk Antepartum, ID/Security Banding, Infant Identification, Insulin drips, Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC), Metabolic Screen, Mother/Baby, Newborn Assessment, NST (Non Stress Tests), OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), Pain assessment & management, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Recover C-Section, Spiral Electrode Placement, Sterile vaginal exam, Terbutaline, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of PCA (IV), Sterile vaginal exam, Thermoregulation, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Vaccine Administration, Wound assessment/care
