Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN Emergency Department
General Information Join our team as a registered nurse in the OB/GYN Emergency Department, where you will provide critical care to patients in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Unit Specifics Number of Beds: 12
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Unit Staffing Description: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs
Documentation System: CPN, Meditach
Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 twelve-hour shifts
Floating Policy: Travelers float first
Patient Experience Requirements: Shared decision making
Certifications Required AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM
ACLS
BLS
NRP
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Labor and Delivery Experience
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years L&D experience.
Advanced Skills Needed Care of the laboring patient
Care of the newborn immediately after delivery
Circulate and recover C-section patients
Procedures Performed on Unit Vaginal deliveries
C-Sections
D&C
Cerclage
Epidural anesthesia
Tubal labor
Dress Code Uniforms: Scrubs are not provided by the hospital. Acceptable colors include Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
