Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, Texas This specialized nursing role involves providing comprehensive obstetric care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for patients in a hospital setting. The position requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies and the state Nurse Practice Act.
Job Details
Certifications: Current Texas or compact state license, BLS, Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Education & Experience: No minimum years of experience required, but travel experience with at least 2 years of prior travel assignments is preferred.
Location Requirements: Must hold a current Texas or compact state license.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include providing obstetric and neonatal care in accordance with hospital policies, maintaining clinical competencies via continuing education, delegating patient care, and supervising assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Submission Requirements: All travel submissions must include at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No local candidates will be accepted.
