Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Carthage, Tennessee.

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) position in Carthage, Tennessee. This role involves working in the maternity unit at a critical access hospital, providing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team, serving maternity women and newborns.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure to work as an RN in Tennessee; ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP certifications; 1+ year of Labor and Delivery experience; valid certifications prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification, experience with Centricity, and Meditech electronic health record systems are advantageous but not required.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Candidates must have the ability to perform in Labor, Nursery, and Post-Partum units. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. All travelers must have the required certifications prior to start, and state-specific checks (Tennessee Abuse Registry) are mandatory before beginning the assignment. The unit features two labor beds and three postpartum beds, with a patient ratio of 1:2, serving maternity women and newborns.
