Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Vacaville, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) within the specified location, this role involves providing specialized nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and comfort for both mother and infant. Job Details Position Description: Provides nursing care to women during labor and delivery, utilizing specialized skills in high-risk obstetrics, including neonatal resuscitation. Responsible for assessing patient needs, preparing delivery equipment, and monitoring fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor.
Required Qualifications:
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensed registered nurse in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field; five (5) or more years of recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, with at least one (1) year in high-risk obstetrics within the last two (2) years; high-risk labor and delivery experience preferred. Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Candidate must have ACLS certification. This position starts on October 18, 2026, and ends on January 16, 2027.
