Job description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join a busy Level 2 Emergency Department . This opportunity is ideal for a flexible provider who is comfortable managing a wide range of emergency cases across all age groups in a high-volume setting.
Position Overview
Board Status: Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a mix of days and nights
Flexibility required for nights, weekends, and holidays
EMR: Cerner
Clinical Environment:
Volume: 200+ combined ED and Urgent Care visits per 24 hours
Patient Load: Approximately 16–22 patients per physician, depending on acuity
Acuity: Typical Emergency Department acuity (acute and chronic care)
Support & Backup:
24/7 in-house Pediatrics and Hospitalist support
