Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant needed for a 13-week local travel contract in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. The role involves supporting the OT team, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers. Opportunity offers up to $1,800 per week and the chance to serve a close-knit community in the Black Hills region.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist OT in implementing individualized treatment plansSupport patients in developing or regaining daily living and work skillsMonitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy teamProvide hands-on care under the direction of the supervising OTEducate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programsEnsure compliance with facility policies and safety proceduresQualifications:Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programActive South Dakota COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)NBCOT certification requiredCurrent BLS certificationPreferred Skills:Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting
