PEL/VIP is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Waterloo, Iowa.

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our clinical team. This position offers both day and night 12-hour shifts in a patient-focused environment where respiratory therapists play a key role in delivering high-quality care.
Schedule
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Equipment Experience
Trilogy EVO Ventilators experience preferred.
Patient Population
Respiratory Therapists will provide care for patients requiring:
Breathing treatments and inhaler therapy
Ventilator management
Tracheostomy care
Airvo therapy
CPAP therapy
BiPAP therapy
Responsibilities
Administer respiratory treatments and inhalation therapies.
Monitor and manage ventilator-dependent patients.
Provide tracheostomy, Airvo, CPAP, and BiPAP support.
Assess respiratory status and implement appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications
Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification.
Experience with ventilator management and advanced respiratory therapies preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
