Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Gainesville, Florida.

Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a long-term care setting. The RN is responsible for performing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and supervising nursing staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role emphasizes patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional development.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience; location requirement: must be within commutable distance; no minimum experience requirement
Responsibilities: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission to develop personalized care plans
Contributes to patient education and discharge planning from the day of admission
Documents patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely in the medical record
Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members
Communicates effectively regarding patient status changes to support continuity of care and safety
Supervises ancillary nursing personnel, providing direction and education as needed
Ensures personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital policies
Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively seeks professional growth
Additional Information: Performs duties in accordance with safety standards, promotes team building and a respectful work environment, and manages supplies efficiently to promote quality outcomes.
