Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a hospital-based outpatient setting requiring ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications along with at least 1 year of experience.
Requirements
ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required, BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography
Montana Mammography Technologist (MT RT) license required prior to starting, if applicable
Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Fine Needle Aspiration, Screening Mammograms preferred
Experience with Needle Localizations and Stereotactic Biopsy preferred
Knowledge of Digital Quality Assurance Procedures and Radiation Safety
Experience with Hologic 3D equipment preferred
References required for consideration
Responsibilities
Outpatient mammography setting within a hospital
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Cerner charting experience preferred
No floating to affiliate hospitals unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital mammography
Candidates must live within 75 miles of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before being eligible for consideration
Background check findings will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
