Registered Nurse Job Requirements
n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care or sub-acute care settingn
Active, current, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States or its territoriesn
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Associationn
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Associationn
Ability to complete TCAR within 6 months of hiren
Ability to complete NIHSS within 6 months of hiren
Strong independent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skillsn
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
n Provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care Med/Surg environmentn
Perform a variety of nursing procedures based on physician orders, standards of care, and facility policiesn
Assess patient conditions, monitor responses to treatment, and document nursing care accuratelyn
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomesn
Support patients and families with education, guidance, and compassionate clinical caren
Adapt to a dynamic medical-surgical nursing setting while maintaining professionalism and attention to detailn
