Job Overview
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse (RN Med Surg) for an assignment in Jasper, Tennessee, starting May 25, 2026. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, travel type.
Qualifications
Active RN license
Degree from an accredited nursing program
BLS certification
At least 18 months of recent acute care Med/Surg experience
Other client‑specific requirements to be determined
Duties & Responsibilities
Med‑Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for patients receiving pharmaceutical management for illness. They must be well‑versed in a broad range of health conditions.
Complete assignments made by physicians
Provide routine and post‑surgical care
Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments
Administer medication
Maintain meticulous documentation of medications and treatments to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other team members
