Patient Ratios: Days 5-6:1; Nights 6:1
Unit Staffing Description: Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 PCT
Nights: 2-3 PCT
Type of Equipment: Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter Equipment, Remote Telemetry
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend (Saturday, Sunday), weekdays flexible
Floating Policy: PRN, typically between Medical-Surgical units
Patient Experience Requirements: BSSR, hourly rounding
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set Must Have: Strong assessment skills, experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
Advanced Skills Needed: Procedures performed on unit include IV and Foley catheter placement
Certifications Required: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred
Dress Code Required uniform: Black or royal blue scrubs
Unit Guidelines/Policies Unit-specific policies and guidelines can be provided upon request.
