Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Medical-Surgical care for a night shift position. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care, including the potential for administering infusions as required by the facility's infusion center.
Shift Information Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Hours: 36 per week
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Rotation: Shared rotation with staff and travelers
Responsibilities Deliver general medical and surgical nursing care to patients.
Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.
Occasionally provide care for pediatric patients, mostly involving Croup or RSV cases.
Utilize Cerner for patient charting and documentation.
Qualifications Licensure: Active Kansas or multistate license required.
Certification: AHA BLS certification required at the time of submission.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a MedSurg setting.
Patient Ratios: Typical patient ratios of 4:1 to 5:1.
Orientation New hires will receive 1-2 days of orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
