Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Candidates residing within 50–100 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced rate or may not be accepted. Applicants must have worked in this unit or setting within the past year to be considered for this position. Job Title Travel RN – Inpatient Medical Surgical (Nights) Location Saint Louis, MO | Inpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a Medical/Surgical inpatient unit Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary and interdisciplinary departments to optimize patient care and comfort Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and maintain professional accountability Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards and regulations Operate unit equipment including Nova Meters, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and SCD machines; document care using EPIC EMR May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs; expected to work every other weekend as required by the facility Required Qualifications Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical/Surgical nursing experience Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted Must be available the full orientation week; night shift orients on day shift Preferred Experience / Skills ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Experience caring for post-trauma, surgical, and medically complex patient populations Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to provide care to a diverse patient population Why Join Us Work at a nationally recognized inpatient facility offering a Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and multiple quality achievement designations in a vibrant city with world-class dining, entertainment, and attractions Flexible expected weekly hours of 36 or 48 hours with no on-call requirements, offering a predictable night-shift schedule in a supportive inpatient environment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID .
