Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rockport, Maine.

Schedule / Job TypeContract Travel 13 Weeks Days Full-Time Onsite Expected 36 hours/week Start: 6:45 AM - End: 7:15 PM Every other weekend expected
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care on a 45-bed medical/surgical unit serving orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and high-acuity medical patients including CHF, COPD, and pneumonia diagnoses
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 on day shift with organized, patient-focused care delivery
Operate unit equipment including Plum pumps, Pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, and Phillips Cardiac Monitor
Perform telemetry monitoring and accurate clinical documentation in EPIC EMR
Demonstrate proficiency in IV skills and adhere to unit float requirements as needed
Nurses with PALS certification may be assigned to care for pediatric patients admitted to the general floor
Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with prior travel nursing experience preferred
Proficiency in IV skills and telemetry monitoring
Completion of assigned LMS education modules upon onboarding
Preferred Experience / SkillsPALS certification (preferred but not required for general assignment; required if caring for pediatric patients)
Experience in medical/surgical settings including orthopedic, urology, or general surgery populations
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
Positive, professional, and team-oriented personality
