Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Job Description As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
Shift Details Start Time: 0700
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirements: Every Third Weekend
Floating Requirement: Floating within the same discipline is expected
On Call: Not required
Holiday Requirements Travelers will be required to work two of three holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). There is a limit of one day request off between November 25-29 and December 23-27.
Unit Specifics Types of Patients/Surgeries: Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, Oncology, Medical
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg and/or Oncology (required)
High-acuity care experience (preferred)
Administration of drips including Heparin, PCA, and epidural (required); chemo administration if certified
First-time travelers are welcome; prior travel experience is preferred
Certification Requirements Active BLS Certification (AHA Preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted)
Active ACLS Certification (AHA Preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted)
Active NIHSS Certification (can be obtained during onboarding)
Employee Separation Policy Individuals who have worked as past employees in a float pool are not eligible to work as travelers in another market for a period of 12 months.
Local Radius Rule All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility as determined by the driver's license.
