PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Dixon, Illinois.

RN (Registered Nurse) Contract Assignment Overview Join our MedSurg team as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing common diagnoses such as NSTEMI, COPD, and Sepsis, and are well-suited for a busy unit with varying patient ratios.
Assignment Details Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2538 (negotiable)
Shift: 12-hour nights, 3x12 schedule
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Charting System: EPIC
Department specific orientation: 1 shift
Qualifications Required:
Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
1 Year MedSurg experience
BLS certification
Understanding of drug-free campus policy and willingness to produce a negative drug screen
Responsibilities Provide patient care for various diagnoses including NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, Sepsis, and AKI
Collaborate with Charge Nurse and House Supervisor
Sign off on telemetry strips throughout the shift
Opportunity to float to ICU, ER, or BHC based on experience
PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
