PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | RN | RN-Medsurg Assignment Overview We are seeking a dedicated RN with experience in MedSurg and Telemetry for a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong clinical skills to manage acute and chronic diseases, post-operative care, and common co-morbidities. Assignment Details Start Date: To be determined Shift Details: 3x12 Days Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable) Charting System: EPIC Support: CNA, Unit Secretary, Charge Nurse, Hospitalist, Intensivist, Central Telemetry Unit Technology/Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Phillips monitors, PCA, and more Floating: To all adult med surg / telemetry units in house Orientation: 1 day facility orientation, 2 days department orientation Scrub Color: RN- Navy Parking: Free parking available or paid parking decks Responsibilities Provide high-quality care for patients with acute or chronic diseases and post-op surgeries Manage multiple co-morbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, and CHF Perform tasks like trach care, chest tube management, and IV insertion Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Interpret telemetry and cardiac monitoring Facilitate discharge planning and patient education Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) competency Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills Experience with IV insertion and central line management Preferred: ACLS certification Medical-Surgical certification PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
