PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Shelby, North Carolina.

RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location: Shelby, NC Assignment Overview Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the MedSurg/Tele unit. Ideal candidates should have 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience. The unit manages patients with conditions such as stroke, respiratory illnesses, and renal failure. This role is suitable for a first-time traveler and emphasizes patient-centered care.
Assignment Details Unit Beds: 32
Patient Types: Stroke, Respiratory Illnesses, Renal Failure, Wounds
Patient Ratios: RN 1:5-6; can surge to 1:7-8
Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Charting System: Epic
Shift Details: 3x12 Nights, ,
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
Orientation: 2 days departmental
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with various medical conditions
Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
Conduct wound care and manage drains/tubes
Start PIVs and manage central lines
Qualifications Required:
18 months Med/Tele RN experience
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Basic Med/Tele skillset

PEL/VIP Job ID # . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
