Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
13-week assignment on night shift (19:00-07:30)
Every other weekend required, with consideration for every 3rd weekend
Every other holiday coverage required
EPIC EMR used
May be required to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
Requirements
Active WI or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification (AHA) required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Provide direct patient care within the telemetry unit
First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager 45 days prior to assignment end date
