Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience. Details Critical Access Hospital offering Medical, Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Mental Health services Med Surg unit with telemetry monitoring Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 36 hours per week Every other weekend (EOW) requirement No on-call requirements Floating required Requirements Active RN license (NH or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience required Med Surg or Med Surg/Tele skills checklist required One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required Additional Information Previous travel experience preferred Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital preferred Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position Requested RTO should be limited to 3-5 days Housing in the area can be challenging, so candidates are encouraged to explore housing options prior to accepting this assignment American Traveler Job ID P- .
