Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry float pool position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring BLS/ACLS and prior trauma experience.
Details
Float pool role covering all Med/Surg units as needed within a Level 1 trauma center
Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
EPIC EMR experience required
Deferred scheduling with no block scheduling approved by most units
Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
Active RN license (GA state or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
Prior experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospitals required
Proven success managing complex, fast-paced, and critical trauma cases required
Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days required for consideration
Skills checklist, certification cards, and Nursys license verification required for consideration
Additional Information
Provide Med/Surg and telemetry nursing care while floating across all med surg units as needed
Work in a high-acuity, inner-city trauma environment handling complex and challenging cases
No RTO permitted during the assignment
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required in profile
