Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least three years of nursing experience and Illinois RN licensure.
Details
Work in the Med Resp unit of a hospital environment
Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
Floating required to other area hospitals within the health system
Epic EMR charting required
Requirements
Active Illinois RN license in good standing
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
ASN required, BSN preferred
Level 1 Trauma center experience required
Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care including assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions for a designated patient group
Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
Contingent workers may not be on assignment for more than 1 year at this health system without a 6-month break in service before returning
