Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Paris, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse - Paris, TX. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and advanced stroke and orthopedic services at a 154-bed healthcare facility. The role requires delivering compassionate patient care to adult and pediatric orthopedic and trauma patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Required Qualifications:
BLS, PALS certifications, associate degree in nursing or higher, current licensure, and 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The unit provides traction equipment and follows Meditech Electronic Health Record system. Unit-specific patient ratios are 5:1, serving both adult and pediatric orthopedic and trauma patients. Stitching and cast management are part of daily responsibilities. Submission Requirements: Candidates must have the required certifications prior to start and meet the facility's clinical standards. Float: Float rotation may be required.
