Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Billings, Montana.

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse Location: unspecified. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, providing supportive and restorative therapy and treatment to patients. The position requires applying clinical judgment to promote patient well-being and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: ASN (graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
Additional Responsibilities: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May also be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
Certifications & Skills: Proficiency in nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning. Additional skills include resource utilization, clinical documentation, execution of medical functions, patient referral, and treatment plan monitoring.
Education & Licensing: Current RN license, BLS certification, ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit or service.
