Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Starkville, MS. This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population on a Medical-Surgical Floor. The nurse will be responsible for managing a mix of medical, orthopedic, general surgery, GIP, telemetry, and step-down patients, demonstrating confidence in using EPIC electronic health record systems and maintaining a patient load of 5-7 individuals.

Position: RN - Medical-Surgical
Location: Starkville, MS
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
Valid RN license, 3+ years of Medical-Surgical experience, proficiency with EPIC, minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty, and location requirements are met.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with diverse patient populations and telemetry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, documenting in EPIC, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Additional Information: This unit serves a wide variety of patients, requiring adaptable skills to handle multiple care needs and ensure patient safety and comfort during shifts.
