Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Greeley, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. This position provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating outcomes, and documenting care in accordance with professional standards. The role supports patients across medical, oncology, telemetry, and medical-surgical populations while coordinating with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Job Details Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, temporary or interim Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; CO CAPS; minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care hospital setting, including acute care experience within the past 12 months in the specialty area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree; professional certification; additional related education or experience. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Provides care for medical, oncology, telemetry, and medical-surgical patients. Ability to read telemetry strips is required. Weekend and holiday coverage is required according to unit rotation. Clinical responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, direct care, delegation, supervision, patient education, interdisciplinary communication, and timely documentation. COVID-19 requirements apply, and religious exemptions are not permitted. Assignment Period: 11/23/ /20/2027.
