Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse based at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on diabetic and renal patient populations. The role requires flexibility to work night shifts, including holidays, with a commitment to supporting clinical teams in a teaching hospital environment.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active VA or Compact State License, 2 years of relevant specialty experience, BLS certification required, ACLS preferred, minimum of 0 years of experience.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional requirements: Must be a charge RN in this unit, with experience in teaching hospital settings and charge responsibilities preferred.
Responsibilities include providing patient care, working as a charge nurse when needed, and supporting a team environment in a teaching hospital.
Position start date is 11/02/2026, with assignments ending on 03/20/2027.
