Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical - Surgical Registered Nurses for travel-only contracts at a partnering hospital in Ogallala, Nebraska. With 40+ years of experience, we connect nurses to nationwide opportunities with competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated support.
Qualifications:
Active Compact State RN License
BLS certification required (AHA)
Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg area
Ability to pass a background check and meet credentialing requirements
Additional experience/certifications may be required
Travel RN contracts only; applicants must reside outside the state of Arizona.
Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse Contract Details:
Compensation: $2,003 - $2,174 per week *estimate
Location: Ogallala, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
Schedule: 36 hours per week | Every other weekend
Start Date: Flexible, based on facility need
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with the standards of professional Medical - Surgical nursing practice
Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring
Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care
Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses
