Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse in the area. This role involves providing patient care in a 23-bed inpatient unit, primarily during night shifts, with responsibilities aligned to common diagnoses such as NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, Sepsis, and Acute Kidney Injury. The position requires clinical expertise and adherence to hospital policies, fostering a safe and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Job Details
Shift: Nights, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), active Illinois license or confirmation of application process, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and successful completion of the department-specific orientation.
Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare team members.
Certifications: BLS (AHA)
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with minimal call or standby requirements.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Submission Requirements: Last four digits of SSN, active Illinois license or proof of application, understanding of Drug-Free Campus policy, and confirmation of requested time off.
