Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 6 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical Floor Arlington, TX. This travel nursing position supports a fast-paced, 30-bed unit providing care for post-surgical and acute care patients. The role includes nighttime 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 48 hours per week. Job Details Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; registered nursing experience in medical-surgical or acute care settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar healthcare facility environment. Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: The unit typically maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1 and uses equipment including Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand devices, and bladder scanners. Common patient care includes post-surgical recovery, pain management, and care for patients requiring withdrawal assessment and management.
