GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Med Surg | St. Louis, MO | Contract Quick Look Weekly Gross Pay: $2,566 - $2,701 Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in St. Louis, MO. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet and Teaching Hospital, recognized for its commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care for post-operative medical-surgical patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Utilize teamwork and effective communication skills to deliver high-quality care. Perform necessary procedures including phlebotomy and EKG interpretation. Assist with patient mobility and hygiene, prioritizing patient wellness. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and House staff for comprehensive patient management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a medical-surgical setting. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS. Ability to float within the service line as needed. First-time travelers are welcome. Must pass the Relias EKG exam for interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. Skills in time management, prioritization, and teamwork are essential. Experience with bariatrics, trachs, Endo Onc, MIS, plastics, ortho, and ophthalmology is preferred. Facility Highlights: Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care, Magnet, Teaching Hospital, Level I Trauma Center. Total Staffed Beds: 1,266. Charting System: EPIC (required). Parking: Monthly passes available; specific parking costs apply. Guaranteed hours are provided, with a minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week contract. RTO restrictions allow for no more than 7 days of RTO during the contract period. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted, and pending licenses are also welcome.
