Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Pikeville, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary A Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse is needed for a facility-based position on a Surgical/Orthopedic unit located in the healthcare provider's environment. The role involves providing clinical care to patients in a hospital setting, primarily during night shifts. This opportunity is suited for qualified nurses with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting. Job Details Position: Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse Surgical/Orthopedic Unit Certifications: BLS, ACLS Education & Experience: Kentucky or Compact state license; 2 years of relevant experience in a medical surgical environment; 0 years minimum experience required, with at least 2 years preferred Location Requirements: Active license in Kentucky or a Compact license; located in or willing to work in the specified region Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date: 12/26/2026 Additional Information: Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is a plus. Scrub color code: ICU - Royal Blue; all other units - black.
