Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing patient care on a 22-bed unit specializing in total joint replacements, spine, and orthopedic surgeries. The position requires team-oriented professionals committed to delivering quality healthcare and operating within hospital protocols.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS Certification
Education & Experience: 2 years of experience required, with no specific mention of degree requirements or additional certifications.
Location Requirements: Candidates outside a 50-mile radius will be considered with valid driver's license; candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organizations affiliated health systems.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities: Providing patient care for post-operative orthopedic, spine, and shoulder surgery patients, including monitoring and interpreting telemetry, assisting with patient mobility, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Certifications & Licensing: Valid license to submit, CPR certification, and a pass/fail skills exam during orientation are required.
Additional Information: The unit is equipped with tele boxes for monitoring, requiring staff to read and interpret strips. Orientation includes at least one day of department-specific training.
