Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/03/2026 Duration: 6 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical, Arlington, Texas. This position supports a fast-paced inpatient unit providing care for post-surgical patients and patients requiring pain management or alcohol withdrawal assessment. The assignment is scheduled for 12-hour day shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Job Details Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at submission; medical-surgical or acute care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical-surgical or acute care experience. Additional Information: Patient ratios are approximately 6:1. Clinical responsibilities may include care for post-surgical patients, including those recovering from cholecystectomy or cystoscopy with stent placement, as well as pain management and alcohol withdrawal assessment. The unit uses Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand devices, and bladder scanners. A fast-paced, outgoing, and high-energy approach is preferred.
