This 13-week travel RN assignment is ideal for an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse who enjoys caring for complex adult telemetry and medical-surgical patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.n

Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per weekn
Weekly Hours: 36 hoursn
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, based on unit needn
Orientation: 24 hoursn
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680-$1,770n
Charting System: Epic experience requiredn
Floating: May be required to other qualified med-surg unitsn
Job Requirements
n Active Tennessee RN licensen
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Tele or adult telemetry nursing rolen
At least 1 year of Epic EMR experiencen
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certificationsn
Experience managing a patient ratio of 1:6 preferredn
Comfortable providing care for adult telemetry and medical-surgical patientsn
Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional floating assignmentsn
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamworkn
Responsibilities
n Provide safe, compassionate care to adult med-surg and telemetry patientsn
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditionn
Care for patients with higher oxygen needs, atrial fibrillation, dialysis needs, and post-cardiac catheterization recoveryn
Administer and manage therapies such as heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation as orderedn
Support step-down patients who do not require ventilators or pressorsn
Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response, and other clinical support servicesn
Document accurately in Epic and maintain high standards of charting, safety, and compliancen
Float to other qualified med-surg units as needed based on census and staffing needsn
