nSchedule: Nights, 7 PM 7 AM, 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIH certification, 2 years of experience in the related nursing specialty, EPIC experience highly preferred/recommended
nResponsibilities:nnProvide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
nAddress increasing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice
nAdminister medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitor for side effects and effectiveness, and document patient information
nAssess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
nMake appropriate clinical assignments and delegated tasks to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation

nAdditional Information:nnPractice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of situations
nPerform under the expectation of the applicable OneCHRISTUS competencies including Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
nContinue to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing
