Job Description
nWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in critical care nursing principles and practices, particularly in managing patients with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
n Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting
Utilize telemetry monitoring techniques and interpret dysrhythmias
Administer IV medications and perform phlebotomy as needed
Manage feeding tubes, colostomy care, and other specialized nursing tasks
Assist in the management of patients undergoing pre and post hemodialysis
Participate in rapid response and code situations with care teams
Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and wound care protocols
n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry
Current RN license required (NC or Compact license acceptable)
BCLS certification required (Advanced certifications are preferred)
Experience with EPIC documentation system is preferred
