Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN position located in the area. This high-acuity, fast-paced environment specializes in the care of acute stroke and complex telemetry patients on a 34-bed unit. The role involves performing neurological assessments, monitoring telemetry rhythms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, protocol-driven care.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIH; valid state license required. No minimum years of experience required.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Job Responsibilities: Perform and document neurological assessments, including NIH Stroke Scale.
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, respond to changes in real-time.
Ensure compliance with stroke core measures such as dysphagia screening, education, and care plans.
Administer medications using BCMA standards with a focus on safety and accuracy.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including providers, therapy, and case management.
Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-turnover environment.
Maintain focus on fall prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety.
Submission Requirements: Centralus Resume Checklist/Testing, Centralus Epic Questionnaire, and Centralus Health Submission Cover Sheet.
