Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurses are needed in the local area to support upcoming staffing needs. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, with the flexibility of rotating day and night shifts. Job Details Position Description: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) RN with 2 years of experience required. The assignment involves floating between medical-surgical and telemetry units, providing essential patient care.
Required Qualifications:
RN license, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid nursing license, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The role involves working every other weekend and holiday, with limited requests for time off. It is self-scheduling, with the schedule balanced by staffing coordinators. Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units is preferred.
