Required Certifications & Skills Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Antihypertensives, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Baby friendly protocols, Bladder assessment/Foley Catheter Insertion, Breast engorgement, Breast feeding instructions, Breast Milk Collection and Storage, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Episiotomy / incision care, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, IV Antibiotics, Large for gestational age, Level 1 Nursery, Low birth weight infants, Multiple Births, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Postpartum, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Pain assessment & management, Phototherapy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Special Care Nursery/Level II, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Vaginal Delivery
Certifications: NRP, BLS
Licensure : VA License or Compact License. Quick License State (Application process takes 2 weeks or less!)
