Required Certifications & Skills Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Antihypertensives, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Bladder assessment/Foley Catheter Insertion, Breast engorgement, Breast Milk Collection and Storage, Car Seat Education, Cesarean Section, Cord Care, Couplet Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Episiotomy / incision care, Heparin, Infant Identification, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV Antibiotics, Large for gestational age, Level 1 Nursery, Low birth weight infants, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Metabolic Screen, Multiple Births, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Phlebotomy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Postpartum, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Breast feeding instructions, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Phototherapy, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Starting and maintaining IVs, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Use of PCA (IV), Vaccine Administration, Vaginal Delivery
