Required Certifications & Skills Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Antepartum, Antihypertensives, Antiseizure, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Baby friendly protocols, Bladder assessment/Foley Catheter Insertion, Breast engorgement, Breast feeding instructions, Breast Milk Collection and Storage, Car Seat Education, Cesarean Section, Cord Care, Couplet Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Episiotomy / incision care, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Heparin, Infant Identification, Insulin drips, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Large for gestational age, Level 1 Nursery, Low birth weight infants, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Metabolic Screen, Multiple Births, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, NST (Non Stress Tests), Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Thermoregulation, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Post-epidural management, Postpartum, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Starting and maintaining IVs, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Use of PCA (IV), Vaccine Administration, Vaginal Delivery
