TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance.
Interpret doctors' written instructions correctly.
Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and ensure safety.
Assist radiologist with procedure performance.
Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.
Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequences of exposure and label appropriately.
Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
Certification: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration in magnetic resonance imaging.
State‑specific licensing when required.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods of time.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
