Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 24 months of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Details
Hospital-based MRI department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient patient populations
Choice of schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-8a start with 3:30p/4:30p end, or alternating 5x8s and 4x10s weekly, both 40 hrs/week
On-call requirements include one weeknight (Sun-Thurs) and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
Uses Siemens and GE MRI equipment
Performs power injection contrast injections
EMR system is Epic
May be required to float across multiple campuses including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist
Requirements
Minimum of 24 months of MRI experience required
ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
License required if applicable
Strong experience and proficiency with Siemens equipment required
Experience with GE MRI equipment highly preferred
Level I trauma experience preferred; Level II trauma experience highly preferred
Current or recent hospital experience highly preferredEpic or Epic Radiant experience highly preferred
Travel experience preferred
Professional reference from a supervisor, charge, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
Contractor required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Charcoal gray scrubs required
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN in the float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments at any UnityPoint Health facility if employed within the past 12 months
