Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an academic medical center setting requiring ARRT(MR) certification and 1-2 years of MRI staff experience.
Details
MRI Neuro unit within Radiology department at an academic medical center
Performs Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI imaging
13-week assignment with Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Day shift options of 6:30AM-3PM or 8:30AM-5PM, or evening shift 2PM-10:30PM
No rotation required between day and evening shifts
No call, no overnights, and no holiday coverage required
Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
Active MR license required if applicable
BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program required
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience as a staff tech required, 2 years preferred
Epic charting experience required
Must demonstrate competence with a variety of equipment and technology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
Ability to work independently in an organized, efficient, and multifunctional manner
Additional Information
Produces high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental imaging standards
Practices safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
Fosters teamwork through effective communication
Works in a high-acuity academic medical center environment
Candidates should be adaptable and team-oriented
